PART 7: PREVENTION OF MINOR MALFUNCTIONS
Problems
Cause
Solution
The washing
machine does not
turn on.
Check that the door is closed.
Check that the power plug is properly inserted into the
power socket.
Check that the water tap is open.
Check that you have pressed the Start/Pause button.
Check that you have pressed the main power button.
The door cannot be
opened.
The washing machine
is equipped with
a safety mechanism that
keeps the washing machine
door locked for a certain
time after the completion
of a washing program.
Disconnect the power cord.
Error in the heating
element
The heating element is
damaged and the heating
hose is not heating.
You can wash laundry as usual.
Though it is not possible to use a wash with a set
temperature.
Contact a service centre.
Water leak
The water supply
or drain hose connection
is not tightened.
The drain hose in the room
is clogged.
Check and tighten the hose connections.
Clean out the drain hose and contact a service centre
for a replacement if necessary.
Water runs through
the laundry
detergent drawer.
The water hose is not
connected correctly.
The drain hose
is leaking.
Check the water supply hose connection and repair
it if necessary.
Replace the drain hose.
The indicators or
the display do not
light up.
The washing machine is not
connected to the power grid.
Motherboard problem.
Connection problem.
Check whether there is a power supply interruption
and correctly insert the power plug into a power
socket.
If not, please contact an authorised service centre.
Remains of laundry
detergent in the
compartment
The laundry detergent
is damp and there
is a lot of it.
Clean out the laundry detergent compartment.
Use a liquid laundry detergent or special laundry
detergents.
The washing eff ect
is not good
The laundry was too dirty.
An insuffi
cient amount
of laundry detergent was
used.
Select an appropriate washing program.
Add the right amount of laundry detergent according
to the instructions on the packaging of the laundry
detergent.
Unusual noise. High
vibrations
Check that you have removed the transportation screws.
Check that the washing machine is installed on a fi rm
and even surface.
Check that there are no foreign metal objects inside the
drum of the washing machine.
Check that the feet of the washing machine are levelled.
