PART 1: SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Important safety instructions
KEEP THIS MANUAL FOR FUTURE USE.
ATTENTION: To prevent injury by electrical shock, fi re hazards or irradiation of persons by
health damaging microwave energy radiation, please adhere to the precautions provided
below. When using the oven, it is necessary, as with other electrical appliances, to adhere to
certain rules ensuring the safe and proper operation of the oven.
Under no circumstances should you turn on the oven with the door open - using the oven with an open
door may result in irradiation by health-damaging microwave energy radiation. Do not disable or tamper with
the safety locks on the oven door.
Take care not to allow foreign objects to enter into the area between the front surfaces of the oven and the
oven door. Take care not to soil this area with remains of cleaning agents or food remains.
ATTENTION: If the door or the door gasket seal is damaged then the oven must not be used until
repaired by a qualifi ed person. When inspecting the oven, pay special attention to: (1) the door
(whether it is damaged or bent), (2) door hinges and locks (check for damage or looseness) and (3)
door gasket seals and the oven's sealing surfaces.
ATTENTION: It is dangerous for anybody other than a qualifi ed person to carry out any repairs
or maintenance whatsoever that leads to the removal of any cover providing protection from
microwave energy radiation.
ATTENTION: Liquids and other foods must not be heated in closed containers because they could
explode.
ATTENTION: This appliance may be used by children older than 8 years of age and by persons
with physical or mental impairments or by inexperienced persons, if they are properly
supervised or have been informed about how to use of the product in a safe manner and
understand the potential dangers arising from its incorrect use. Children must not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be performed by
children unless they are older than 8 years of age and under supervision. Keep the appliance
and its power cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.
1. Regularly clean the appliance.
2. Install or locate the appliance according to the instructions in this user's manual.
3. Do not use or install the appliance outdoors. Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of water, swimming
pools, water tanks or any other similar water sources.
4. The appliance my heat up during operation and accessible parts may be hot to touch. Keep the power
cord at a suffi
cient distance from hot surfaces. Under no circumstances should you cover the ventilation
openings. Prevent children from touching the appliance while it is in operation.
5. Do not leave the power cord hanging over the edge of a table or a work bench.
6. Failure to keep the oven clean could lead to surface damage, which could adversely aff ect the lifetime
of the appliance and could lead to a dangerous situation.
7. The appliance is not designed to be operated by means of a remote control, external timer or another
device that puts the appliance into operation.
