With assign a specific user
The second way to create an external station is to create an external station and then
assign it to a specific user (an external station may not exist without its user). This can
be done in the menu "Routing - Station" where you select 'add station' via context
menu and after filling out a name and assigning to the user check the option
"External", which will open the next part of the dialog box where you add the external
station number and, if applicable, check the SMS forwarding option. The situation is

Change an internal station into external one
The third - and last - way to create an external station is to change an internal station
into external one. This can also be done in the menu "Routing - Station" where you just
click the "Basic" tab at the selected station and then check the "External" option and fill
in the required information in the newly opened part (dark-grey area). The situation is

is necessary to change the number, its sub-type and, if applicable, check the SMS
forwarding option.
